Supreme Committee Exempted Sur from day lockdown until Friday

Sur: The Supreme Committee decides to extend the applicability of the decision allowing movement of individuals & vehicles, and opening stores selling basic needs in Sur only, to remain in effect on 22-23, 2021 (7 am to 5 pm).

In a statement said ONA: The Supreme Committee on Covid-19 has followed the recent developments of the extreme weather conditions in the Wilayat of Sur, which have caused floods of wadis due to the heavy rainfall. Hence, pursuing to support the efforts made by competent authorities and individuals in ensuring proper reinstatement of the situation in Sur, in a way that does not conflict with the precautions set to halt further spread of the pandemic, the committee decided to extend the applicability of the former decision allowing movement of individuals and vehicles, and opening stores of: food stuff, bakeries, restaurants, building materials, electrical and sanitary materials, and footer located in Sur only, to remain in effect on Thursday and Friday 12-13 Thu al Hijjah 1442, July 22-23 July, 2021.
