    Muscat: Supreme Committee issue statement on Weddings and funerals gathering in Oman

    The Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid 19) indicated that it is prohibited to hold gatherings of any kind and not to participate in them, especially weddings and funerals, because of their severe risk of spreading infection among the community.

    The committee confirmed that the concerned authorities will take all legal measures to arrest the violators.
