Supreme Committee: Oman reserved 2.5 million doses of vaccine from manufacturers

Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Saeedi, Minister of Health, stated during the 22nd press conference of the Supreme Committee in charge of discussing the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the new Corona virus “Covid 19” that 2.5 million doses have been reserved for the Sultanate from vaccine manufacturers.

Minister of Health: We hope that by the middle of the year all of the first target groups will have had the vaccine .450,000 doses of Covid19 vaccine have been booked and will arrive this month.

Minister of Health : The number of COVID-19 examinations conducted in the Sultanate has reached one million and 550 examinations so far.

Minister of Health : 134524 total confirmed cases of #COVID19 in the Sultanate, and 1532 total deaths and 6 new cases of covid 19 strain registered in Oman so far

Minister of Health : the number of inpatients for Covid-19 doubled in 11 days, which is a very worrying and dangerous indicator.
