Supreme Judicial Council Vice-Chairman receives Chinese Official

Muscat: Sayyid Mohammed Sultan Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council today received Ying Yong, Procurator-General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries and ways of expanding its prospects, in addition to benefiting from the common experiences between the two countries.

During the visit, the Chinese delegation met with Sayyid Khalifa Said Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Supreme Court.

The Chinese delegation was briefed on the judicial experience of the Sultanate of Oman. The two sides also discussed exchanging visits between the two countries and their impact on enhancing and promoting areas of joint cooperation.

The delegation also got acquainted with facilities of the Supreme Court, such as the library and courtrooms. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Sultanate of Oman.  – ONA
