

Muscat: The Swedish “Ikea” company announced the building of a new branch in the Sultanate, specifically in Muscat.
Veenod Jayan, General Manager of IKEA – Al-Futtaim Trading, said in an interview with “Arabian Business” that a new branch of the company is currently being built in Muscat.
He explained that this branch will be opened at the end of next year or beginning of 2022.
It is worth noting that this comes as part of IKEA’s expansion plans in the Middle East, which include opening new stores in Abu Dhabi and Cairo.
