The season also witnessed the organization of a ceremony to crown the accompanying competitions. On the sports front, His Excellency Suleiman bin Amer Al-Rajhi, member of the Shura Council and representative of the state of Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, crowned the Al-Suwayh youth team as champions of the “Winter Al-Tahayem” season championships for sand football and sand volleyball, after strong competitions and a wonderful conclusion to the two championships. In the Al-Zafin Golden Sword Competition, after exciting competitions, Al-Zafin Saeed bin Khalfan Al-Durai was crowned champion of the competition, and the competitions of the first stage of the Sand Challenge race for cars and bikes called (Al-Runat) began, which was held in Merhab Hill in the state. The camel race (Al-Namūs), the difficulty weanling race, began for a distance of 1,200 meters in Al-Sih Al-Khader Square in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan, and included 6 rounds for the virgin and Al-Ja’dan categories. The ceremony honoring the winners was sponsored by His Excellency Muhammad bin Ali bin Amer Akaak, the governor of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan.

The activities of the Sand Theater witnessed an unparalleled turnout from the masses, as they interacted with the evening of poetry and sheelat, which was performed by the Qatari vocalist Misfer Al Sindwanah, during which he presented a group of his own artistic works. The evening was also performed by a number of poets in the Sultanate of Oman, namely Kamel Al-Bathari, Saeed Al-Hajri, and Ali Al-Ghanbousi, who presented a group. One of their poems that attracted the attention of large audiences.

The closing program tomorrow is scheduled to include various events, activities, and performances, as well as a coronation ceremony for the competing teams, including the start of the second round of the camel race (Al-Namūs), the weaning race, for a distance of 1,500 meters and including 10 runs, the Hajjayj race, 3 kilometers and including two runs, and the Al-Lakaya race, 4 kilometers and including two runs. At Al-Sih Al-Khader Square for the Al-Jadaan and Al-Bakar categories, and the start of the endurance race (camel marathon) for a distance of (11) kilometers on the Al-Tahayim Road track, in addition to the start of the second round of the sand challenge for cars and sand bikes “Al-Runat” for the sand bike category, 6-cylinder vehicle category, and 8-cylinder vehicle category. the vehicle category has a modified 6 cylinder, and the vehicle category has an 8 modified cylinder.
