    • Tajikistan plans freshwater exports to GCC countries

    Muscat: Ambassador of the Tajikistan to Kuwait, Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda announced a plan to export freshwater from Sarez Lake in Tajikistan to Gulf countries and other regions facing water scarcity.

    This announcement was made during a meeting in collaboration with the United Nations office in Kuwait, briefing on the current state of affairs of the 3rd High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development,” 2018-2022.
