Nizwa: Camillus Mongoso Wambura, Inspector General of Police Force of the United Republic of Tanzania and his accompanying delegation today visited the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in the Wilayat of Nizwa, the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah.
During the visit, the guest was briefed on the tasks, specializations and role of the Police College and the various institutes in the academy. They were also oriented with the role of the academy in grooming human cadres at the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The guests were also familiarized with the different training programmes offered by the academy.
Moreover, the guest and his accompanying delegation visited the police command in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah and the Police Station of Al Jabal Al Akhdar (or the Green Mountain).
During this visit, the guest viewed a live demonstration of some of the skills in preparing Special Tasks police personnel. – ONA
