    Muscat: Temperature hits 49 degrees in this place in Oman

    In a statement OmanMeteorology said: Some of the monitoring stations of the Civil Aviation Authority are recording high temperatures now, reaching the end of the forty, 49 degrees Celsius in the Al-Sunainah and Hamra Al-Duru’ stations, and 48 degrees Celsius in the Ibri, Fhud and Qarn Al-Alam stations.

    Oman Meteorology also reported yesterday the highest and lowest temperatures recorded in Sunaynah (49.8C) , Ibri records (49.6C) , Hamra Ad Duru records (49.5C) , Qarn Alam records (49.4c) and Fahud recors (49.3C). The lowest temperature was recorded in Dhalkut (20.4C)
