Muscat: According to Oman Meteorology (Met), the temperature is approaching 50 degrees Celsius in Hamra Ad Duru station in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
In a statement OmanMeteorology said: According to Oman Meterology, Hamra ad Duru recorded 49.4°C as the highest temperature among all the weather stations during the last 24 hours, followed by Sunaynah with 48.9 degrees Celsius and then Bidiyyah with 48.2 degrees Celsius. 48.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Ibri and 48.1 degrees Celsius in Sohar, Mudhaibi with 47.9 degrees Celsius, Barka with 47.9 degrees Celsius and Liwa with 47.5 degrees Celsius
