    Muscat: The Ministry of endowment and religious affairsa (MERA) issues a Statement of Not Sighting the Crescent of the Month Rabi Al-Awwal 1445 AH.

    In a statement MERA said: “The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the Crescent of the Month Rabi Al-Awwal 1445 AH was not sighted this evening, Friday 29th Safar 1445 AH (15th September 2023). Therefore, tomorrow i.e. Saturday (16th September 2023) will mark the end of Safar 1445 AH, and Sunday (17th September 2023) will mark the beginning of Rabi Al-Awwal 1445 AH. We ask Allah Almighty to bless this month and all the months to follow, and may He grant us with success and prosperity.”
