To reduce traffic accidents: the opening of roundabout in Lazaq in Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology will open the Lazaq Roundabout project in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, to traffic this week.

The opening of the roundabout comes after the completion of the civil and basic works and the asphalt paving layers, and work is currently underway to install the guiding regulations and the work of ground paints on the roundabout.

The new roundabout will serve traffic and movement between the villages of the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi and the wilayats of the neighboring governorates, in addition to contributing to the economic and tourism movement in the wilayat in particular and North Al Sharqiya in general.

It also serves those coming from the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, the Sinaw Prosecution and the Wilayat of Al Wusta Governorate heading to the Samad Al Shaan Prosecution and the Wilayat of the Governorates of Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Sharqiya and vice versa, in addition to reducing traffic accidents at the old intersection that linked the Samad Al Sha`an – Sinaw road to the Masron Road leading to the Wilayat of discharge.
