Traditional horse show held in Asilah, Jaalan Bani Bu Ali

Jaalan Bani Bu Ali: A traditional horse show was held in Asilah in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali on Saturday in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah, in cooperation with the Al Asayel Equestrian Club in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, amid wide participation. The aim of the event was promote and protect the cultural heritage of the region.

The activities of the traditional horse show witnessed a wide participation of the riders from the Al Asayel Club in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali. They presented artistic paintings of equestrian skills, and traditional horse shows, which drew admiration and engagement from the spectators.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Ghailani, General Supervisor of Al-Ardah activities, said: “The horse’s exhibition is a significant cultural heritage that has been passed down from generation to generation in the Omani society, and it is part of the community’s culture. These events serve as a platform to preserve traditions and a social meeting point for community and horse sports enthusiasts.”
