    • Travellers must declare cash worth more than OMR 6000: Oman Customs

    Muscat: Traveler must declare to customs authority the amounts of case value OMR 600 or more, said Oman Customs

    In a statement Oman Customs said: Dear Passenger: welcome to the Sultanate of Oman. Kindly note that any person bounding or leaving the territory of the Sultanate of Oman must declare to theCustoms Authority the amounts of cash, currencies or negotiable financial instruments in his possession in case thy value (6000) OMR or more; as well as , other equivalent value currencies. 

    Article NO. (53) of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing Terrorism Law.
