“Tree Your Home” event in Al Buraimi Governorate

Al Buraimi: The General Directorate of Housing and Urban Planning in Al Buraimi Governorate today organized the “Tree Your Home” 2023 event, as part of the October Urban Activities and the first Gulf Housing Week.

Eng. Ahmed bin Saif Al-Esayi, a member of the organizing committee, said that this event is one of the aspects of the Vibrant Public Places Initiative, which the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is working on, as it aims to spread the culture of afforestation, increase the green area, and encourage community members to do so.

He added that during the event, community members were made aware of the mechanism for requesting an afforestation service through the Housing and Urban Planning website, while introducing the municipality’s most important correct afforestation controls, in addition to distributing and planting many seedlings to attendees. The event was organized in cooperation with the Buraimi Municipality and the Environmental Department in the governorate. .
