Rize: The Turkish’s Rize Airport welcomes the first direct flights of SalamAir, the airline will operate every Saturday and Tuesday from Muscat International Airport to Rize Airport, which is located in the north of the Republic of Turkey and near the city of Trabzon.
The airport welcomed the first flight of SalamAir, to new direct route between Muscat and the Turkish city of Rize. Flight No. “895” took off from Muscat International Airport at 2:55 pm, arriving in Turkish Rize at 5:55 local time of the Republic of Turkey.
Captain Mohammed Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of SalamAir, expressed his happiness at the success of this destination, which was very popular with Omani travelers and their Turkish counterparts, as well as residents of both countries.
