Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two people for violating cybercrime laws in Oman
In a statement the Royal Oman Police said that the Department General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation arrested two people on charges of violating the Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes by filming video clips of women victims in a situation that violating of public morals and promoting the sale of pornographic films through social media programs.
The Royal Oman Police stressed the need to observe public morals and respect authentic social principles and values when dealing with social media.
