    Muscat: Two citizens died in Salalah while escaping from police and their vehicle collided with a police vehicle during an attempt to arrest them on suspicion of a criminal case, and they drove the vehicle in the opposite direction of traffic, which lead to them colliding with another vehicle, according to the Royal Oman Police.

    In a statement ROP said: “Two citizens in the Wilayat of Salalah died after they escaped and their vehicle collided with a police vehicle during an attempt to arrest them on suspicion of a criminal case, and drove the vehicle in the opposite direction of traffic, which led to them colliding with another vehicle. Procedures for gathering evidence and investigating the incident are being completed in coordination with the Public Prosecution.”
