    • Two expats fined OMR 2,000 for selling illegal chewing tobacco in their shops

    Muscat: A fine of OMR 2,000 has been imposed on two expatriates for selling chewing, non-smoking tabacco in a shop in South Al Batinah.

    In a statement CPA said: The Consumer Protection Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah in Rustaq arrests 2 expatriate workers who sell  chewing (non-smoking tabacco) in their shops and imposes an administrative fine on them of OMR 2,000 according to Resolution No. 301/2016 amended by Resolution No. 256/2015
