    •  Two ‘Health Walk’ tracks launched in the Wilayat of Sur

    Sur: South Al Sharqiyah Governorate today launched two health tracks in the Wilayat of Sur, the city centre track and the port track, to promote a healthy lifestyle among community members with the support of Oman LNG.

    This came under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al Maawali, Governor of South Al Sharqiyah. These two tracks reflect the governorate’s interest in implementing sports and physical activities in the community, creating recreational and sports spaces, and enhancing the tourism and economic aspects.

    The Path Project includes many service facilities including a 1.9 km long walking and cycling path, in addition to providing an open theater and a designated area for children’s games. The port path project is 1.2 km long.
