The Civil Defense, and Ambulance Authority said that the rescue teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate managed to pull out two more dead bodies, bringing the number of people recovered by the teams to 4.
The authority stated that this came after efforts to search and comb the stream of one of the aflaj in the Sana’a Bani Ghafir area in the Wilayat of Al-Khaboura.
The authority called on institutions, companies and individuals to follow safety procedures during the maintenance of wells and falaj to avoid loss of life.
Earlier, The rescue teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate responded to a well collapse on workers while they were carrying out maintenance work for a well in the Sana’a Bani Ghafir area in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura, where two people were recovered, who died.
