Muscat: Two persons were killed when the wall of a well collapsed on the workers carrying out the maintenance work of a well in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura in North Al Batinah Governorate. Rescue teams are continuing their search operation to locate other missing persons.
In a statement CDAA said: “The rescue teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate responded to wall collapse on workers while they were carrying out maintenance work for a well in the Sanaa Bani Ghafir area in the state of Al Khaboura.”
The authority reported that two people had been recovered, while the search for the other missing persons is still continuing.
