UAE Embassy thanks Royal Oman Police after stranded Emiratis rescued from wadis

Muscat: The UAE Embassy in Muscat expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Royal Oman Police for carrying out rescue and evacuation operations for UAE citizens who were besieged by valleys in the Wilayat of Madha and on behalf of Lima.

The embassy, ​​in tweets wished safety for all, and reminded its citizens to take caution and follow safety instructions issued by the official authorities in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Royal Oman Police had said yesterday that the ROP’s aviation carried out the evacuation of (134) people, including 102 citizens and (32) Gulf nationals, who were surrounded by valleys in the Wilayat of Madha and on behalf of Lima, and they were transferred to Madha Airport, all of whom are in good health.
