Undersecretary for Endowments and Religious Affairs: Friday prayer in Oman decision may be issued during next week meeting.

Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments & Religious Affairs appreciates the blessed efforts made by the Supreme Committee and other competent authorities, and praises the responsible attitude shown by the community in adhering to the measures intended to limit further spread of the pandemic, and affirms that our society has demonstrated its ability to adapt positively to the precautions followed in mosques.

The ministry urges everyone to continue to abide by the measures to preserve lives and to avoid harm

Based on the Supreme Committee decisions, the ministry followed a gradual approach to return to normal life in mosques

The Ministry of Endowments & religious Affairs confirms its readiness with regard to procedures related to religious activities based on the decisions .

With regard to Jumu’ah “Friday” prayers, we very much understand the community’s desire to return to Jumu’ah prayers, and a decision will be made at the next meeting of the Supreme Committee next week.
