    • Undersecretary for MOSD receives the Oman’s Special Olympics team

    Muscat: Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development (MOSD), received at Muscat International Airport this evening the Omani Special Olympics delegation participating in the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.

    His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development praised the sporting achievement of the Omani Special Olympics delegation, which won more than 30 various medals during their participation in the Special Olympics World Games “Berlin 2023” in Germany in its 16th edition.

    The reception was attended by Basil bin Ahmed Al-Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth, a number of officials at the Ministry of Social Development, those interested in the sports community and parents of the players.
