Undersecretary of Ministry of Tourism meets Thomas Oertle Ambassador of Switzerland to Oman

His Excellency Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism meets His Excellency Thomas Oertle, Ambassador of the  of Switzerland accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and his accompanying delegation, in his office in the Ministry’s general office.

The Swiss ambassador handed over a giant floor painting titled “Toward Good Ideas” by the Swiss artist Sybi, which is a wall painting symbolizing a child charging an electric lamp from the energy generated by the solar panels next to the Ibri solar power station, the sources consist of environmentally friendly nature as a main source and neglected raw materials, in the context of the Sustainability Week in the Sultanate of Oman, which was organized by the embassy to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Omani-Swiss relations.
