Muscat: The Academic Council of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Dr. Said Hamad Al Rubaie, Vice Chancellor of the University and Chairman of the Academic Council.
The meeting discussed a set of topics aimed at developing work at the various organizational levels of the university.
The Council reviewed results of the university’s 2,179 male and female graduates for the spring semester of the academic year 2022/2023, as well as the third edition of the foundation programme document.
The Council also discussed the nominations for academic supervisory positions in various branches of the university and the presidency of the university. The nominations were compatible with the structure approved for the university, taking into account that these nominations are compatible with the required competencies and for specific years that do not exceed three years, some of which are subject to renewal for one time only.
