Vehicles, spare parts tops highest imported goods to Oman

A report issued by Oman Customs indicated that vehicles and their spare parts were the highest imported goods to the Sultanate with a value of OMR 1.5 billion, followed by fuel and mineral oils, then machines and tools.

The report indicated that the sea ports came with the highest percentage in the value of imports, reaching 56 percent, represented by Sohar Port, followed by land ports with 30 percent, and then air ports with 14 percent.

Fuel and mineral oils were the most valuable commodities in the field of trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the countries of the world, amounting to OMR 14.2 billion, followed by vehicles and spare parts, then machines and machine tools.
