Video: His Majesty the Sultan Gives Audience to Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Baraka Palace today to Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, along with his accompanying delegation.

During the audience, His Majesty the Sultan and Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi discussed relations binding the two countries. They explored various aspects of cooperation aimed at serving the mutual interests of Omani and UAE peoples. They also touched on a number of issues of concern to both sides.

On the Omani side, the meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior and Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office.

On the UAE side, the meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi, Mohammed Hassan Al Shamsi, Adviser to the Ruler, Mohammed Sultan Al Qadhi, Adviser to the Ruler, Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Za’abi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate, Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatri, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department and Mohammed Ali Al Nu’aimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Later, His Majesty the Sultan and the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah held a private meeting in the presence of Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi and Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi.

It is worth noting that Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah arrived in Oman earlier today on an official visit. Sheikh Saud and his accompanying delegation were received upon their arrival by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, and Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman. – ONA
