Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism represented by the Department of Heritage and Tourism in North Al Sharqiyah, in cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the governorate and a number of concerned parties, are participating in the voluntary clean-up campaign in Al Sharqiah in the wilayats of Bidiyah and Al Qabil.
Khamis bin Salem Al Maskari, Director of Heritage and Tourism Department in Al Nadab in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, says that the campaign aims to spread the umbrella of tourism awareness of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the tourist sites in the sands of Al Sharqiya, and not leaving residues when you finish visiting the sand site and camping there.
