Ibra: Nama Water Services Company has said that the total cost of managing the water services sector in the Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah stood at more than RO 143 million.
The cost quoted by Nama includes existing projects and projects under construction, as well as “small, medium and large development” projects and the annual cost of water tanker contracts.
Qais Saud Al Zakwani, CEO of Nama Water Services Company, told Oman News Agency (ONA) that 26,035 subscribers benefit from water networks at North A’Sharqiyah Governorate.
The governorate has 2,064 km of water network pipes, 75 water collection reservoirs and 14 main pumping stations, Al Zakwani added. -ONA
