Weather alert: Mwasalat suspends bus services in Muscat on Monday

Muscat: Mwasalat announces the suspension of city buses service in Muscat for today, Monday, 12th of February 2024

In a statement Mwasalat said: “Due to weather condition announced by the competent authorities, “Mwasalat” would like to inform all of its “Buses” and “Ferries” services’ users that for today, Monday, 12th of February, 2024, the following has been decided:

Buses

« Suspension of all city service in Muscat.

« Continuation of city service in Salalah.

« Continuation of intercity services across all governorates.

Ferries

* Continuation of all routes to and from Musandam Governorate.

* Continuation of operations on route (Shannah – Masirah).

* Continuation of operations on route (Halaniyat – Taqah).

Mwasalat prioritizes the safety of its passengers considering the current weather conditions and it is actively monitoring the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities. Any updates regarding changes to trip schedules or when services will resume will be promptly published through Mwasalat’s social media channels.
