Weather update: Isolated rain with thunderstorms expected across Oman

Muscat: Chance of Isolated rainfall of varying intensity is expected over the coast of Dhofar and mountainous parts of several governorates of the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, said Oman Meteorology.

Clear skies over rest of the governorates with chances of isolated rain of varying intensity occasionally thundershower associated with downdraft winds and hail over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas

Chances of low-level clouds or fog patches along parts of the coastal areas of Arabian sea and Oman Sea

Chance of dust rising over desert and open areas

A Horizontal visibility might reduce during dust raising and Alert fog formation and rain
