Muscat : The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation has announced the suspension of classes in educational institutions and the conversion of study to distance learning in some governorates of the Sultanate of Oman due to the expected heavy rains on September 30, 2024.
The Ministry said in a statement :”Referring to the information received from the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center regarding heavy rains in the period from this afternoon in some wilayats in the governorates adjacent to the Al Hajar Mountains in the Governorates of South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah and the southern parts of Muscat Governorate.”
The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation would like to announce the suspension of study in educational institutions and the shift to distance learning in the above-mentioned governorates in the period from this afternoon, September 30, 2024.
