    • Weather update: ROP issues traffic alert on the Rustaq-Ibri road

    Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued traffic alert on Rustaq-Ibri road following heavy rain across Oman.

    ROP said: The flow of Wadi Al Tayeb in the Wilayat of Rustaq in the South Al Batinah Governorate has led to the closure of traffic on the Rustaq-Ibri road.

    Please be careful and do not risk crossing the valleys until the water levels drop.

    ROP also said: The flow of Wadi Al-Aq in the Wilayat of Samayil, blocking traffic on the old Wadi Al-Aq road, with a tractor-trailer truck being detained and being dealt with.

    Valleys are flowing in some states of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. Please be careful and do not risk crossing valleys and follow the weather conditions from its official sources.
