Wilayat of Al-Awabi is witnessing heavy rains

Muscat: Heavy rainfall received in the Wilayat of Al-Awabi in the South Al Batinah Governorate, accompanied by strong winds that lasted for hours.

The rains covered the center of the state, the villages of Al-Madhouth, Tawi Al-Saih, Al-Rajma, Al-Subaikha, Al-Subaikha neighborhood, Falaj Bani Khazir, Al-Nahda neighborhood, Al-Rami, Al-Walija’, Al-Zahir, Al-Hajir, Stal, Misfat Al-Hatla, Al-Hatla, Al-Hajjar, Sanib’a, Shuwa, Thuqb, Hadas, Al-Muhsana and Al-Alia located in Wadi Bani Kharus.

Heavy rainfall led to the flow of all the reefs and valleys of Al-Ad, Al-Harbi, Stal, Al-Hajir, Al-Alia, Safoun, Al-Sahel, Al-Asami, Falaj Bani Khuzir and Al-Sabikha. The heavy rainfall and the flow of water from the valleys in large quantities cut off the traffic movement in the wilayat, especially the road leading to Wadi Bani Kharus.

The Royal Oman Police made great efforts to ensure the safety of citizens and residents with its extensive presence on all roads.
