Winners of Holy Quran Memorization Competition honoured in Adam

Adam: The Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah celebrated today by honoring the winners of the Holy Qur’an memorization competition for the people of the Bedouin in the Wilayat of Adam, who numbered 143 male and female students.

The celebration program, which was held in the Adam Governor’s office hall, included a number of programs, including a Qur’anic session and a chanting segment, in addition to a visual presentation about the stages of the competition.

Ahmed bin Nasser Al Harithi, Director of the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Interior Governorate, delivered a speech in which he stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to pay attention to the Holy Qur’an in teaching, memorizing, contemplating and printing.

He pointed out the Ministry’s endeavor to find an incubator for learners of the Holy Qur’an that keeps pace with the developments of the current era and deals with local and global developments and changes in every way. Efficiency and ability.

He added that the competition witnessed the participation of about 200 male and female students from “20” Holy Qur’an schools in the state of Adam, and included five levels that included all the Holy Qur’an schools in the desert regions and villages of the state. At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Zaabnut, Governor of Adam, the sponsor of the occasion, honored the supervisors and collaborators and distributed prizes to the winners.
