Winter educational program in Dhofar concludes

Salalah: The General Directorate of Education in Dhofar Governorate concluded the winter educational program, which was implemented by the Innovation and Scientific Robot Center in the Directorate for a period of 3 weeks, targeting 120 male and female students of different ages.

During the program, the participating students were trained on the types of electronic systems and the basics of digital programming, in addition to providing training courses in the field of alternative energy and solar energy system installation.

On the closing day, the program included training on the types of batteries and the appropriateness of their use, in addition to a practical application in the field of electric current and its components, as well as the installation and disassembly of the electric circuit and the expansion of its installation and the drawing of electrical circuits in a physical way.

The aim of the winter educational program is to utilize the students’ spare time during the first semester vacation in enrichment programs such as programming, alternative energy and electronics, in addition to supporting and developing their various skills and experiences, as well as training them to assume responsibility and build a spirit of leadership. /Omani/
