    • Winter program launched in Dhofar

    Salalah: The winter program for the academic year (2022/2023) was launched today at the Scientific Innovation and Robotics Center of the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate. It targets 120 male and female students of all ages, and will last for 3 weeks.

    The program includes a set of training programs, including the basics of digital programming for young students, a training course on alternative energy, solar energy system installation, in addition to a training program for young people on types of electronic systems. Through the program, the center seeks to achieve several goals, including: activating students’ leisure time during the semester break in enrichment programs through which programming, alternative energy and electronics are introduced, students’ talents are discovered and refined, and their various skills and experiences are supported and developed through the implemented programmes.

    The program also includes introducing students to the types of batteries and the appropriateness of their use, providing practical training in the field of electric current and its components, installing and dismantling the electric circuit, expanding its installation, and drawing electrical circuits using the physical method.
