Wonder Bus in Oman which transforms into a boat in water

Muscat: Abdul Rahman a bus owner in Khasab has inaugurated an amphibious bus, which is the only one of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman, which runs on land like all buses, and then turns into a ship as soon as it enters the water, becoming the most prominent landmark of the attractive state of Khasab.

The Governorate of Musandam in general and the wilayat of Khasab in particular are considered to be Tourist attractions in the country, due to the magnificent marine bays and mountain valleys in Khasab state, with stunning scenery, and since marine tourism in Khasab is the largest tributary to tourists.

Regarding the idea of the project, Abdel Rahman explained that, and said: “The wonderful amphibious bus is considered as two different, on the one hand a land vehicle and on the other a marine vehicle, but they are connected together to form a double-type vehicle, as on the road it is considered a regular bus like any land tourist bus that travels “Between roads and streets, and back when it reaches the sea, it turns into a marine ship like any ship or boat with the specifications of fully natural marine ships.”

He added: “The amphibious journey with us is considered one of the interesting adventures, as we always hear that there are tourist adventures in which a person feels fear, but this fear is what is called an interesting thrilling fear, and with us you find the tourist who focuses and looks eagerly around him, and many thoughts and feelings may arise between excitement. Anxiety, anticipation, joy and pleasure are all at the same time, and this is creativity, and praise be to God Almighty, in this project, the wonderful amphibious Khasab Bus Project, which is unique and the first of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman, as the pleasure of the journey attracts all ages.

The bus is very popular, and its journey starts from the office of Abdul Rahman Al-Mulla Company “Golden Coast Travel and Tourism” in the center of Khasab, where tourists are transported by bus and tour them in the main streets in Khasab to enjoy the sightseeing.
