    Muscat: North Al Batinah Municipality has raided a site in Wilayat of Sohar where workers were cleaning and repackaging rice bags infected with insects

    In a statement North Al Batinah Municipality reported that it raided a site in the Wilayat of Sohar where workers were cleaning and repackaging rice bags that had been recalled from the markets due to the presence of insects, and returning them for sale.

    2,718 kg of rice were confiscated and legal measures were taken against the violators.
