    Tax Authority Organises Workshops on tax evasion reports

    Muscat: Tax Authority in cooperation with the National Center for Financial Information organizes workshop to discuss how to deal with reports of suspected tax evasion, defining the terminology of banking transactions, in addition to presenting examples of some suspicious transactions.

    The workshop also included providing an overview of the competencies of the National Center for Financial Information, and introducing operational analysis mechanisms. It is noteworthy that the Tax Authority, represented by the Anti-Tax Evasion Department, is making unremitting efforts to reduce tax evasion, to deal with suspicious reports and verify them, in addition to the agency applying the distinctive mark project to some selective goods.
