Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority issued its approval for the on Tuesday 24, May 2022, for the arrival of the youngest pilot in the world, Mac Rutherford, who is 16 years old, in his plane, which was specially made for him.
The 16-year-old is expected to arrive at Muscat International Airpot on May 21, 2022, as part of his tour to break the record as the youngest pilot to fly solo around the world.
The 16-year-old schoolboy who is on a quest to become the youngest person to fly around the world solo, landed his small plane in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, on May 19.
Mack Rutherford, who has British and Belgian nationality, started his journey near the Bulgarian capital Sofia in march and is looking to clinic a Guinness world record currently held by compatriot travis ludlow.
