Youth Centre launches Ramadan programme package

Muscat: The Youth Center launched a new package of programs in the holy month of Ramadan. This is to develop the skills of young people and invest their time in the holy month. These programs range from glimpses into recitation of the Qur’an, a digital drawing camp, a modern agriculture camp, a financial culture camp and the basics of investing in the financial market, and youth challenges (Al-Badel), in addition to the Virtual Youth Academy program (LinkedIn).

Mohammed bin Nasser Al Lamki, Director of Programs at the Youth Center, said: The programs for the holy month of Ramadan come as a continuation of the Center’s endeavor to discover and develop the skills and talents of young people and invest their time in a way that suits their aspirations.

He added: The technical drawing camp program aims to discover creativity through digital drawing technology, and the modern agriculture camp aims to learn about types of soil, seeds, and modern techniques that can be used in agriculture, while the financial culture and basics of investing in the financial market camp comes with the aim of developing young people’s capabilities in making decisions. Successful investment.

He explained that the youth challenges program in padel aims to enhance the importance of sports, team play, and sportsmanship among young people, and the “Glimpses in Tajweed Quran” program came to apply the rules of reciting the Holy Quran in a correct way, in addition to the Virtual Youth Academy program (LinkedIn) is a specialized virtual training program through… The LinkedIn educational platform targets more than 350 beneficiaries, both male and female.

The Center is constantly working to launch a group of programs in various fields that concern young people and meet their interests, as the number of programs by the end of 2023 reached more than 190 programs, benefiting 37,544 young men and women.
