Muscat: With a diverse portfolio of food and beverage brands and an established presence in Oman’s food sector, Dhofar Foods and Investment participated in HORECA Oman, showcasing its capabilities and engaging with customers, industry professionals, and partners from across the foodservice and hospitality sector. Through its dedicated booth, the Group presented products across key categories, including dairy, beverages, and other essential food products. Alongside its participation at the exhibition, Dhofar Foods also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Oman Food Bank to donate food products to families in need, reflecting its commitment to making a meaningful contribution to the communities it serves.
The participation highlighted Dhofar Foods’ breadth of capabilities and its role within Oman’s wider food value chain, while providing an opportunity to engage with stakeholders on evolving market requirements and emerging opportunities across the hospitality, foodservice, and related sectors. The Group’s presence at HORECA Oman reflected its focus on developing a strong and diverse portfolio that responds to changing consumer and industry needs while contributing to the continued development of Oman’s food sector.
Complementing its presence, the MoU with Oman Food Bank adds a community-focused dimension to Dhofar Foods’ participation. Signed on behalf of the Group by Ahmed Ali Salim Qatan, Chief Government Relations Officer at Dhofar Foods, the agreement will facilitate the donation of food products to support Oman Food Bank’s efforts to reach families and individuals in need.
Commenting on the participation and partnership, Vipul Bahl, Chief Executive Officer of Dhofar Foods, said, “Events like HORECA give us a valuable perspective on how the market is evolving, and this year’s edition highlighted the pace at which consumer preferences and hospitality standards are changing across Oman. The conversations and engagement at the event gave our teams useful insights into emerging opportunities and how our portfolio can continue to respond to the evolving needs of our partners. Beyond the commercial opportunities, we also see our role in the food sector through a broader lens. Our agreement with Oman Food Bank reflects our commitment to making a positive contribution through the resources and capabilities available to us. For Dhofar Foods, responsible business means growing with purpose and ensuring that the value we create extends beyond our products and commercial activities.”
Ahmed Ali Salim Qatan, Chief Government Relations Officer at Dhofar Foods, said, “Our presence in Oman’s food sector comes with a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the communities we are part of. Through our collaboration with Oman Food Bank, we are translating that responsibility into tangible support for individuals and families who may benefit from it. We believe effective corporate social responsibility should go beyond one-time initiatives and focus on creating meaningful, sustained impact. This is why we value initiatives that connect our business capabilities with genuine community needs and enable us to contribute in a practical and responsible way. As Dhofar Foods continues to grow, we remain committed to ensuring that our progress is accompanied by a positive and lasting contribution to society.”
The collaboration with Oman Food Bank forms part of Dhofar Foods’ broader approach to responsible business, translating its role within the food supply chain into practical support for the community. By contributing products to those in need, the initiative underscores the importance of making food resources more accessible while strengthening the social value created through the Group’s operations.
With a growing portfolio, established market presence, and a focus on meaningful partnerships, Dhofar Foods continues to pursue opportunities that contribute to the development of Oman’s food and hospitality landscape.
