    • Audi Oman heralds Sayarti, Kempinski Hotel into luxury of electric vehicle

    Muscat: Audi Oman, represented by Premium Motors has announced that Sayarti has become first leasing and rental company to add an electric vehicle to its lineup in Oman. Sayarti added Audi e-tron Sportback, first full-electric model from the brand to its premium fleet of rental cars. In addition, Kempinski Muscat became the first hotel in Oman to lease Audi e-tron Sportback from Sayarti.

    The fully electric Audi e-tron Sportback model equipped with an e-quattro all-wheel drive system, intelligent technology, and advanced charging capabilities will now be available to renters and leasers at Sayarti, Zubair Group’s leasing and rental company.

    Christian Nehme, General Manager of Premium Motors Oman, was present at a ceremony where representatives of Sayarti (Zubair Group) handed over the key to Carsten Weigandt, general manager of Kempinski Hotel Muscat.

    Christian Nehme said: “We are excited that Audi fans will now be able to rent or lease Audi e-tron Sportback from Sayarti. The Audi e-tron Sportback is unmatched in combining all-electric performance and luxury. It is a great way to experience Audi’s electric future.

    Syed Sohraab Hasnain, Head of operations of Sayarti said, “Adding Audi e-tron Sportback to our fleet gives our clients a chance to taste of all-electric German luxury. We are thrilled to add a car which combines the space and comfort of a typical luxury class automobile with a range suitable for everyday use, catapulting the driver into a new era with the electric all-wheel drive.”

    Spokesperson for Kempinski Hotel Muscat said, “We remain committed to promoting best practices in sustainability, from community engagement to environmental conservation. Leasing an electric vehicle is part of our efforts since they are a smart choice for the environment.”

    The new Audi e-tron Sportback impresses with an athletic sill, large single-frame octagon design with vertical struts in the front and the unmistakable sloping Sportback roofline in the back. In the Audi e-tron Sportback all-electric drive system, the front and rear axles each have an electric motor and a total output of up to 402 hp.

    The Audi e-tron Sportback comes with numerous innovative technologies such as the option of virtual exterior mirrors that project images into the vehicle via a small camera. Interior digital technologies such as the Audi virtual cockpit and MMI support enhance functionality. The optional panoramic glass roof ensures a pleasant, light-flooded interior and improved ventilation.

    The S-line exterior and virtual exterior mirrors help achieve an outstanding drag coefficient value of just 0.25. This is primarily due to the coupé body shape and the associated lower aerodynamic drag behind the car. The high separating edge of the Audi e-tron Sportback minimizes swirl in the airflow in this area, which ultimately also benefits efficiency.
