Salalah:  Australian cyclist Cameron Scott won the fourth and final stage of the Tour of Salalah cycling race, while the Li-Ning Star Cycling Team claimed the overall title of the sixth edition.

The Tour of Salalah was organised by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with the Oman Cycling Association from Sept. 5 to 9, 2026.

The fourth stage started in front of Taqah Castle, passed by Darbat Waterfalls and concluded at Khawr Ruri, covering a distance of 106 kilometres. The race featured the participation of 95 cyclists representing 16 regional and international teams.

The Tour of Salalah aims to showcase the natural and cultural assets of Dhofar Governorate, strengthen Oman’s presence on the global cycling map and highlight the Sultanate’s capability to organise races accredited by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

The event also seeks to develop the skills of Omani cyclists, discover young talent, raise the technical standard of the sport and promote health awareness.
