His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, said that hosting the championship reflects the continued interest in equestrian sports and Arabian horses as an integral part of Oman’s cultural and historical heritage. He noted that the championship’s international classification highlights Dhofar Governorate’s capacity to host specialised international events.
