His Majesty the Sultan gives audience to India’s Minister of External Affairs

New Delhi: His Majesty the Sultan give an audience at his residency in New Delhi today to Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India. The audience review the advanced relations between Oman and India and means of promoting them in various areas.

The two sides exchanged views on a set of regional and international issues of common concern.

The audience was attended from the Omani side by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Issa bin Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassadorof Oman to India.

On the Indian side, it was attended by Muktesh Pardeshi, Secretary of Consular, Passport, Visa & Overseas Indian Affairs at the Ministry of External Affairs, Aseem Raja Mahajan, Joint Secretary in the Department of External Affairs (Gulf Region) and Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman.    – ONA
