Hongqi sponsors the prestigious 10th Al Roya Business Awards

The 10th edition of the Al Roya Business Awards ceremony was held on the 21^st of December 2022. Sponsoring this reputed event was Hongqi – among the newest additions to the MHD ACERE automotive portfolio and one of the leading luxury Chinese car brands in the world.

A strategic partnership with the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry [OCCI], the awards ceremony was held at the Grand Millennium, Muscat under the patronage of senior officials from the government and private sectors.

This edition of the awards was focused on the value China as a country brings to Oman. Supported by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, the event showcased support for Omani-Chinese business projects, with the purpose of helping develop a strong and successful business community in the Sultanate.

This is in line with the Oman Vision 2040, where the Sultanate aims to overcome challenges, keep pace with regional and global changes, generate and seize opportunities to foster economic competitiveness and social well-being, stimulate growth, and build confidence in all economic, social and developmental relations nationwide.

To continue the tradition of celebrating international partnerships, this year, select Chinese companies in the Sultanate were honored according to their contributions to the economy of Oman. The event was graced by H.E. Li Lingbing, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, accompanied by senior officials from the embassy and a delegation of leading Chinese businessmen as well as senior Omani ministers, and government and private employees.
